Hampshire Fare Food Festival

Hampshire’s local food scene is buzzing with talented people working hard to create delicious produce and creative crafts.

The Hampshire Fare Food Festival provides a centre stage for farmers, producers and suppliers alike who are passionate in what they do and this festival is a showcase to promote the fruits of their labour.

Hampshire Fare Food Festival 2017Here at The Exchequer, we are dedicated to sourcing from local farmers and producers and only ever use sustainable ingredients and therefore it is only to be expected that we are such a positive ambassador for, and a member of, Hampshire Fare.

To mark this exciting annual festival, Chef has created a delicious pie to feature in the 12 Tempting Pie & Pints promotion, using local supplier Ambrose sausages very own chorizo, based in Upham Hampshire.

12 Tempting Pie & Pints

Throughout the month of July 2017, enjoy our Pie & Pint offer (featured in the above festival promotion) which is a chicken, chorizo, tomato and basil shortcrust pastry pie, topped with puff pastry and served with buttered new potatoes and tenderstem broccoli, to be enjoyed with a pint of Triple FFF’s Alton Pride for just £17.95 (includes the pint).

Kick back, relax and dine al fresco with friends and family in our front and back patio gardens to make the most of the summer sunshine. If you’re feeling energetic, head out onto the Basingstoke Canal (just behind us) for a long, or short, walk and enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature at its best.
